Kindergarten ELA "I" Statements and Number Circles: Learning Through Movement

Whew...I have finally finished my first two products specifically geared towards kindergarten.  I will be working with K-2 ESE students this year.  I'm very comfortable with the 1st and 2nd grade curriculum expectations, but I have never taught K before so I have been a little unsure about what exactly I should be doing.  I came home from our trainings yesterday and discovered that I was ready to get started on my K resources.  First, I've created 64 ELA "I" Statements on brightly-colored backgrounds.  I chose not to do the "I Can" statements becasue I think that gives kids an out.  "I Can" does not reinforce the message of "I MUST" which is how I want my students to think about these goals.  If you are interested, please visit my TPT store or click on the cover sheet below.

Second, I created Number Circles: Learning Through Movement.  This product is great as a whole group activity to practice addition, subtraction, number recognition or number words recognition or as a math center.  The circles are large and students will need to work on the floor, which will get them out of a chair and moving.  Students can review and maintain number recognition, one to one correspondence, number words, and addition/subtraction facts.  If you are interested, please visit my TPT store or click on the cover sheet below.

Have a Spectacular Sunday!
